BGC Canada’s national team provides support to our member Clubs and leads in issues management, policy advocacy, and other critical work on behalf of Clubs. We advance the agenda for the children, youth, and families served by member Clubs through critical work in the areas of public policy, research, program development, and Club support. The national team is also responsible for building the BGC brand, fundraising, and managing public relations and communications for our cause.
About You
Our highly nimble Partnerships and Philanthropy team operates in a fast-paced, exciting and collaborative environment. You will play a vital administrative support role on the team.
You are excellent at multi-tasking, organizing multiple projects, and deadlines, and collaborating with others. You are familiar with managing and maintaining digital platforms such as Salesforce, SharePoint, and other fundraising/event registration platforms. You are an incredibly detail-oriented individual who enjoys organizing information, communicating information, and ensuring tasks are getting completed. You have a friendly demeanour, with a positive attitude, take initiative and enjoy being helpful.
Ideally, you have some fundraising experience and are knowledgeable about federated models and how to successfully work with member agencies, however, we welcome applications from those who may not have that experience but who are willing and eager to learn.

You will help coordinate logistics related to key partnerships, donors, national events, and initiatives and maintain communications through digital platforms. You will assist in improving and maintaining internal processes to enhance team efficiency and performance. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and gain experience working with some of Canada’s premier companies/brands making an impact in the non-profit sector. This role will assist in all areas of fundraising including corporate, foundation, and individual giving as well as events.

It will be expected that the successful candidate works in a hybrid model out of the national office in Toronto, Ontario and resides within the GTA. When working from home, the incumbent must have a space where they can work comfortably and focus on their tasks. BGC Canada will provide the necessary technology required to get the job done.

This is a full-time, permanent role. The starting salary range is $55,000 to $65,000, plus excellent benefits. Starting salaries are based on relevant experience.
