Place des Arts is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Group Piano Teacher to teach classes on Fridays between 3:30-7:30 PM at Place des Arts for our 2023/2024 season. The candidate must be passionate about teaching and interact well with students of different ages.

Place des Arts provides quality arts education in music, visual arts, dance and theatre for all ages and skill levels. QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor of Music or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five-years teaching experience working with students of various ages and abilities in a group music class setting

REMUNERATION

Starting at $54 per hour. Instructors are contracted to a self-employment agreement. Place des Arts coordinates studio space, scheduling, registration and program promotions.

REQUIREMENTS
The application of Place des Arts COVID-19 vaccination policy is currently suspended however, should the policy be re-implemented, it will be a requirement for all current and future self-employed teachers. All Place des Arts instructors are required to obtain and provide a Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Section check prior to teaching at Place des Arts.
