  • Support financial education workshops for parents and teens.
  • Liaise with Connections’ In-Home team and provide financial resources and information for families.
  • Represent the Financial Coach Program in community of practice participation and on financial and tax/benefits policy advocacy.
  • Adhere to Connections’ policies and practice standards, including a current police and child welfare check, and fulfill all reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Able to treat client families with respect while maintaining a welcoming and professional attitude.
  • Crucial soft skills, including an eagerness to learn, dependability, problem-solving capacity and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in case management.
  • Ability to work well as part of a small, interdependent team.

Additional Requirements:

  • Successful applicants may be asked to provide proof of qualifications.
  • A current criminal record check and Child Welfare check are also required, the cost of which will be reimbursed by the agency upon offer of employment.
