JOB SUMMARY

The Manager, AC is responsible for managing the deliverables of the RHFAC program including streamlining the day-to-day processes and efficient delivery of projects.

This role is accountable for the delivery of implementation, tracking and reporting for the program grants received related to rating and certification. As the RHFAC program expands, the Manager, AC will lead the needs analysis, design, development and implementation of the roll out schedule to deliver to contracted requirements.

 

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS                            

The Manager, AC reports to the Sr. Director, Programs and manages interns, contract or term staff that are responsible for business development, outreach and customer service.

This position works closely with the other sub-units of the RHFAC team and the Marketing & Communications team, and collaborates with RHF staff and consultants. The Manager, AC regularly liaises with external parties including, but not limited to: clients/program participants and external delivery partners.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manages the delivery and operation of the RHFAC rating and certification program components. Includes: identifying scope and managing projects; defining program controls; developing, implementing and streamlining processes, procedures and reporting; and facilitating and incorporating feedback from external parties.
  • Recruits, onboards, trains and manages RHFAC staff, interns and volunteers as required;
  • processes, identifies areas of improvement based on feedback, and provides recommendations on rating and certification process and RHFAC Registry;
  • Establishes data management strategies to assist with determining ROI from RHFAC and other impact reporting purposes;
  • Collaborates with RHF’s Marketing and Communications team to develop marketing and communications plans for program growth;
  • Manages the following:

            o      communication of RHFAC program updates;
            o      development and integration of RHFAC guidelines;
            o      RHFAC events and speaking engagements;
            o     Business Development and Customer Service functions to ensure program targets are met; and
            o     Relationships with RHFAC partners.

  • Works closely with the project manager and IT vendor on the development of a new platform to facilitate RHFAC program operations;
  • Contributes to the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts and expenditure schedules; and
  • Performs other related duties in keeping with the purpose and accountabilities of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: University degree in or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters an asset.

Certification/Designations: None.

 

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience;
  • Minimum 2 years of project planning and/or program management experience;
  • Experience recruiting and managing staff and volunteers an asset;
  • Reporting and budget experience an asset;
  • Computer experience, including intermediate knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel. Working knowledge and experience with Salesforce preferred; 
  • Fluency in French, oral and written, an asset;
  • Not-for-profit experience is an asset; and
  • Understanding and sensitivity of issues relating to people with disabilities an asset.
