JOB SUMMARY
Position: DATA ANALYST
Purpose: As part of the Operation Ukrainian Safe Haven team, the Data Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting data related to Ukrainians who are interested in relocating to Canada. The successful candidate will establish robust data administration policies and ensure that data is readily accessible to both internal and external stakeholders.
The Data Analyst will utilize their expertise in data visualization to develop engaging and informative materials that effectively communicate key findings and insights to various audiences. These insights will be used to inform policy decisions, and the Data Analyst will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure that their findings are utilized in the most effective way possible.
Reports to: Project Director for Operation Ukrainian Safe Haven
Hours & location: 35 hours per week - work from AMSSA's office located at 4445 Norfolk Street, Burnaby B.C. Work from home 2 days a week.
Salary: $35.00/hour
Classification: Full-Time Contract; March 2023 - March 31, 2024; subject to extension based on funding.

ABOUT OPERATION UKRAINIAN SAFE HAVEN
Operation Ukrainian Safe Haven is a national and coordinated communications initiative to bridge and link communications and resources with key stakeholders involved in supporting Ukrainians coming to Canada. A national sector secretariat was established to focus on national communication objectives, including referrals for housing offers, donations, volunteers, jobs, and other resources and communications from provinces and territories.
