Friends of the Great Commission Foundation (FGC) is looking for the right person to fill a permanent 30hr/week position as a Ministry Account Advisor

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills, be personable - providing great customer service - and enjoy problem solving. The Ministry Account Advisor (Advisor) provides first-line service to FGC’s ministry partners, including missionaries, non-profits, and charities. Our Advisors are given a caseload of ministry partners to connect with, serve, pray for, and advise on charitable administration. The Advisor facilitates Internal Revenue Service (IRS) compliance, and advocates for the FGC partners by liaising with other FGC departments (Accounting, Donations, etc.) to provide assistance and resources to help ministries thrive.

Main Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Follow-up and correspondence with partners including, but not limited to payroll, expense claims & advance clearings, IRS compliance requirements, account & donation inquiries, and various report requests.
  • Read and file documents required for charity compliance.
  • Assist partners with FGC’s event tools for planning and execution a ministry's promotional events.
  • Monitor activity of projects through various means including but not limited to website monitoring, quarterly reports, newsletters. Share social media content to promote partner ministries.
  • Provide communication to Partnering Organizations and/or Advisory Teams.
  • Act as liaison between partners and FGC support teams including IT/software, accounting, or donations.
  • Provide guidance for partners.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Post-Secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum five years customer service experience.
  • Proven administrative skills experience, minimum five years.
  • Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills.
