We are looking for a motivated Marketing Assistant to join our <program> team!



The Marketing Assistant works with program staff to develop and execute marketing and outreach activities to ensure funder and contractual commitments are met, administers websites and social media, and other marketing and outreach initiatives to support Employment, Languages and Social Enterprise (ELSE) department.



  • Degree, certificate, or diploma in marketing, communications, or related areas.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with marketing and outreach activities.
  • Experience implementing marketing plans and analysis to identify solutions/market trends.
  • Knowledge of office procedures, standard office equipment, and MS Office Suite. Keyboard skills of at least avg. 45 wpm.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategy, social media, graphic design and the printing production of marketing materials, video shooting and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere, Hootsuite, and Canva.
  • Initiative, organization and ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, strategize and analyze.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • English communication skills required. Ability to speak a second language will be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience managing social media accounts and websites an asset.
  • Work with immigrant populations and/or diverse cultural backgrounds, and experience working in media an asset.
  • Criminal Record Check if required by employment contract


HOURS: Full-time (35 hours per week).


The successful candidate may be permitted to work a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote work). 

Candidate must be able to commute to MOSAIC Boundary Office.


BENEFITS: A competitive benefits package is provided with contracts of at least 1 year in length and which offer a minimum of 17.5 hours of work per week.
