JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Withdrawal Management Supervisor provides support to staff and clients within our bed-based Withdrawal Management and Treatment Services program. The program is staffed by an interdisciplinary team that provides supports to people withdrawing from alcohol and/or drugs through counselling, withdrawal symptom monitoring, administering medications, health teaching/education, and skills development to support client recovery. You will ensure the provision of high-quality services through program oversight, staff training and coaching, data analysis, and quality improvement activities. Though primarily assigned responsibilities for Withdrawal Management, the Supervisor works closely with the program’s Manager and fellow Supervisors to ensure all programs and staff within the Withdrawal Management and Treatment Services portfolio are supported. You also collaborate with leaders across the Addiction and Mental Health department as well as external community partners, to ensure continuity of care for clients. You are an important part of a team that ensures client safety and comfort at this early stage of recovery. You make a difference!
The Withdrawal Management Supervisor:
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week. Sunday through Thursday, rotating a week of days (8 am – 330 pm) and a week of afternoons (1230 pm – 8 pm).
Training: Initial comprehensive training related to all aspects of the role, as well as access to ongoing professional development.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS
Candidates registered with a professional regulatory body (i.e., CNO, OCSWSSW, CRPO): $28.25 to $32.05 per hour plus $1 per hour shift premium for weekend work and comprehensive benefits.
Candidates not registered: $25.84 to $29.33 per hour plus $1 per hour shift premium for weekend work and comprehensive benefits.
Starting wage commensurate with experience.
