About the Role
Family Services Employee Assistance Program (FSEAP) provides clinical counselling services to employees of client organizations who may be experiencing problems in their personal, family, or work lives. In addition, the program provides a variety of organizational services to its corporate clients, including workplace consulting and training, and critical incident stress management responses. As a social enterprise of Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV), FSEAP is a fee-generating business, with all of its profits going to support the larger work of FSGV and the Greater Vancouver community.
FSEAP Vancouver maintains a provincial network of highly qualified and experienced counsellors who provide clinical services to employees and their family members. FSEAP Vancouver’s network includes clinical counsellors through solo providers and counselling firms and agencies across B.C/Yukon. These affiliates all hold a Master or Doctorate degree in psychology, counselling psychology or social work, have a minimum of five years or 2500 hours of clinical experience and are registered with a provincial professional registering body. They are experienced in their fields and skilled in providing assessment, crisis intervention, short-term counselling and community resource referral to employees and their family members.
Please note special consideration will be given to in-person, trauma-informed, BIPOC, and/or bilingual counsellors or those that have training and experience providing on-site CIR/CISM, and/or working with First Responders, Indigenous, and/or 2SLGBTQ+ clients.

Preference will be given to in-person providers located in Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Terrace, Fernie, Cranbrook, and Kimberley. Other BC cities will also be considered based on client demand.
Wage: Hourly rate will be negotiated depending on location of service(s) and clinical experience.
