Title: Alpine Ski Coach, NG – U18
Location: Camp Fortune Ski Club in Ottawa/Gatineau

The Program:
Camp Fortune Ski Club is one of the oldest ski clubs in Canada and has a long history of
running one of the largest performance ski racing programs in Canada with 200+ athletes.
We have a dynamic program that delivers incredible opportunities for all involved including
athletes, coaches and parents with a focus on athletic and coach development from entry
level to Provincial, National and beyond. We have many experienced coaches and mentors on
staff that can help you achieve your professional goals. In addition we run a number of camps
throughout the season nationally and locally including, in Western Canada and Eastern
Canada.
Positions:
We are currently looking to fill positions for coaches to work within any of our Racing
Programs at the Club from NG – U18. These positions are typically weekend jobs but some
can range from 3-5 days a week from November until April, with opportunities for any of our
three pre-season away camps. Camp Fortune Ski Club coaching positions provide an
incredible opportunity to develop your own coaching skills working with many of Canada's
best mentors. We can help you achieve your personal professional goals AND help develop
valuable coaching skills for future endeavors. Our coaches are provided many opportunities
and support including away and mini-camps, mentorship, regular course setting clinics,
regular sessions, educational components and financial assistance for improving
certifications.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Entry Level Trained or Certified
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
NOTE: For those that are not yet certified, we will be coordinating a pre-season Entry-Level
Course for which financial assistance can be provided.
Responsibilities:
• Provide a fun, safe learning experience for our athletes.
• Work with the other coaches and supervisors in our Programs.
• Provide timely and effective communication to athletes, parents and other coaches.
Compensation:
Based on qualifications and experience. In addition there is financial assistance in place for
coach development and education.
