Opportunity
The South Surrey P&HP Facilitator is responsible for the coordination and operation of primary prevention programs in the community and within elementary, middle and secondary schools in their assigned community. Facilitators will work within a harm reduction framework that utilizes resiliency-based substance use related prevention and health promotion evidence. A broad-based health promotion approach is used in the development and implementation of programs. The goal of our P&HP programs is to provide meaningful and accurate information to the youth to help youth make healthy lifestyle choices and decisions about substance use.
The successful applicant will enjoy working in a variety of settings, doing outreach and working independently in the community. They will be able to have flexible hours as core hours go until 6:00pm and there is the occasional evening and weekend work.
