Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a Program Assistant II – Hearing Health Care, based in Toronto. Reporting to the Supervisor, Hearing Healthcare Client Accounts, the Program Assistant II – Hearing Health Care is responsible for assisting the region by providing reception, administrative and program support. This will include scheduling and confirming appointments for Audiology, assisting and supporting clients with hearing and communication device repairs, and processing monetary transactions including preparing and forwarding financial records when required.
This is a permanent, full-time onsite position working Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary diploma in Office Administration or Business Administration, including intermediate accounting skills and experience with financial/funder reporting, along with 2-3 years’ related experience (preferably in in a Hearing Healthcare setting and/or medical office). We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. A sense of urgency is required, as well as the ability to handle a pressurized environment and manage a varied workload with competing priorities and deadlines.
