The Role:

As a People Development Coordinator at CLBC, you will be responsible for the coordination, communication, and administration of a wide range of learning and development activities, both online and face-to-face. You will support the development and maintenance of the learning analytics and evaluation system, as well as the administrative functions of the People Development Team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and disseminating program and course description information that is engaging and relevant to promote learning opportunities
  • Supporting the delivery of employee welcome and orientation workshops
  • Supporting CLBC departments in the creation of impactful and effective intranet pages which are learning-focused
  • Maintaining and updating the People and Culture intranet Pages
  • Maintaining online learning and development materials such as videos, blogs, articles, e-blasts, job aids
  • Organizing meeting logistics such as travel, minute-taking and room bookings
  • Completing logistical requirements for events/learning, including booking internal and external venues, ordering required catering, equipment, and materials required for the event
  • Identifying and supporting the implementation of process improvements that will support effective and efficient operations

  • Have a creative flair and excellent computer skills for creating infographics, presentation slide decks, and other visual narratives
  • Are proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team environment
  • Have strong critical thinking skills and judgment to analyze and solve problems
  • Are flexible and can handle regular interruptions, establish priorities and complete assignments on time while working in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of adult learning, Human Resources, or Communications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a position responsible for coordinating learning activities and providing related administrative support
  • An equivalent combination of relevant education/experience may be considered
  • Demonstrated ability using Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and Adobe Design software

Hybrid work You will be required to work one day from Head Office, and can work a second day at a CLBC office closer to your home. The remaining 3 days can be worked from home.
