Samaritan’s Purse Canada (SPC) is looking for an experienced Medical Operations Specialist (MSCS) to join our Programs and Projects (P&PD) team. The successful candidate will have an integral role on the International Disaster Response Team and will collaborate closely with the International Health Unit (IHU) at Samaritan’s Purse International Headquarters (IHQ). The MSCS serves as a technical expert in the medical supply chain, including sourcing, supplier relationship management, inventory management and control, and expiry management of pre-staged medical consumable and durable inventories. The position will also work with the IHU and biomechanical technicians to maintain readiness on all Emergency Medical Response (EMR) equipment. The position will also assist with medical logistics training for the International Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART). As an integral member of the Programs & Projects department, this role will help SPC carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily devotions and prayer ministry. This is a full-time permanent position in the Calgary head office.
