Job Summary:

Delish is a multi-ethnic catering service that brings together the talented culinary skills of newcomers to Canada. The Delish Program Coordinator is responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the Delish Catering with Diversity Program including program development, expansion, and oversight.  This position is responsible for providing leadership to both staff and volunteers, event planning, food and beverage management and event logistics.

Your Role:

Archway’s Delish Program Coordinator with the Delish Catering with Diversity Program contributes by:

  • Effectively creating and maintaining a strong team of chefs.
  • Enhancing the skill sets of team members.
  • Engaging local businesses/organizations and private entities for catering opportunities.
  • Supporting community initiatives in line with Archway vision and values.

Our Offer

  • Wage: $25.00 per hour.
  • A part-time position at 20 hours per week (with possibility for full-time), flexible availability required to work some evenings and weekends.

Getting an Interview – you will be considered if you have:

  • Minimum Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or Event Planning is an asset.
  • Experience in the food industry.

The Job Requires you to:

  • Be able to lift, push, pull, move products, equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs.
  • Be in an environment with frequent interruptions requiring switch-tasking.
  • Class 5 BC Driver’s License with a satisfactory driver’s record.
  • Food Safe Certification.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office 365.
  • Work in extreme temperature changes and noise.
  • Obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check is a condition of employment.
