JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, Employment Ontario services are available to assist both job seekers and employers.

As a Workshop Facilitator, you will:

  • Develop workshop curriculums
  • Schedule workshops, facilitate groups and document activities
  • Represent the Agency at events and promote programs
  • Support the resource area with administrative tasks

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Annual salary range: $37,967 to $43,095 plus comprehensive benefits

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have a college diploma in a Human/Social Services/Business field
  • Have a minimum of 1 year group facilitation experience, preferably in an employment services program. A Career Practitioner/Job Development certificate an asset.
  • Must have effective problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong report-writing and goal-setting skills
  • Be proficient in MS Office and be familiar with databases
  • Have access to reliable transportation, as some travel may be required
  • Be able to manage exposure to occasional vicarious traumatic stress
