Social Work Specialist

The Social Work Specialist will work closely with Northern Alberta Regional Centre for Healthy Aging, which promotes a holistic approach to healthy aging through knowledge sharing, research and community engagement. They will also oversee the implementation of frailty assessment tools through training staff at Sage and engaging with the community and other organizations to provide them with training opportunities. The position scope also includes addressing barriers to using the tools and providing leadership and training to enable the use of the tools in front line work.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
This position is a permanent full-time career opportunity. The starting salary range is between $47,754 - $59,908 plus 100% Employer paid Health & Dental plan and 5% matched Pension plan. Salary considerations are based on assessment of the successful candidate’s education, skills, previous experience and other factors. Sage offers an outstanding work life balance with a 35-hour work week, 3 weeks of vacation to start plus the last week of December off with pay, and generous sick leave accruals. Sage also observes 13 statutory holidays in the calendar year. Sage is offering great flexibility with a hybrid working environment and the option of a compressed work week.
