Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides support to the Lead Physician and Office Manager in processing lab specimens and maintaining patient information. This position is characterized by patient care, patient follow up, administrative tasks and support as needed. The LPN works in both a solitary capacity as well as part of a team. This position requires attention to quality and detail.
The patient group is youth ages 12-24. When the LPN interacts with patients, the interaction must be characterized by empathy, non-judgmental communication, and respect for the patients’ emotional state and right to self-determination.
