The Burnaby Neighbourhood House is a volunteer-driven, community-based social service agency that provides programs and services in response to identified community needs. The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a targeted afterschool drop-in program. This is a low barrier program aimed at providing extra social/emotional support for participants with barriers. The Team Lead reports directly to the After School Program Coordinator.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
Direct Report: Program Coordinator
Hours of Work: Program Team Leaders availability is from Tuesday to Friday from 2:30pm to 5:30pm
Starting Wage: Starting wage is $20.21. 4% holiday pay will be added to pay.
Closing date: Until position is filled
Positions start: As soon as possible
Position Ending: June 2024- If applicable could continue for Summer Camp position.
NOTE: If you are Canadian Citizen and under 30 years old, you can apply for grants for a Summer Camp position offering 35hrs per week, Monday to Friday for 8 weeks.
