As an events coordinator, your primary responsibility is to plan and execute successful events for TAPC. This includes coordinating 2 or more events per year, and supporting the preparation process for each event.

Your duties will include outlining the event itinerary and execution methods, as well as assigning tasks to team members and creating a proposal that outlines the event's objectives and goals. You will also be responsible for running and facilitating events, ensuring that they run smoothly and that attendees have a positive experience.

In addition to event planning and execution, you will also work closely with other teams within your organization, including marketing, sponsorship and grants, and finance. This includes planning and marketing events, securing sponsorships and funding, and managing budgets.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Event Planning: Developing event themes, objectives, and goals, and outlining event itinerary and execution methods.

  2. Team Coordination: Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members, and ensuring that everyone is working together effectively.

  3. Marketing and Promotion: Working with marketing to promote events and secure sponsorships and funding.

  4. Budget Management: Managing event budgets, including expenses for marketing, venue rental, catering, and other event-related expenses.

  5. Event Facilitation: Running and facilitating events, including managing logistics, ensuring that attendees are engaged and entertained, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

  6. Post-Event Analysis: Conducting post-event analysis to assess the success of events, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for future events.

Overall, as an events coordinator, you will play a critical role in planning and executing successful events that help TAPC achieve its goals, while also ensuring that attendees have a positive experience.
