Habilitas Foundation fundraises for, and grants to Quebec-based organizations committed to improving the lives of those living
with physical disabilities and/or sensory impairments.

As an organization Habilitas Foundation takes pride in its focus on people and relationships, and in its shared values of kindness
and compassion.

The Habilitas Foundation Governance Committee is currently seeking nominations for positions on the Board of Directors.
Habilitas Foundation currently has two open positions and is looking for individuals who have experience in one or more of the
following areas:
• Philanthropy/Fundraising
• Physical disabilities work (clinical or administrative)
• Government relations and/or Policy
• Human Resource Management
• Lived experience as a member of the disability community

Habilitas Foundation is led by a board of up to 15 directors holding oversight accountability for the organization’s mandate,
brand strength, fundraising, fiscal accountability, health and safety, and more. The Board guides strategic direction and provides
governance oversight to the day-to-day operations. This includes monitoring the organization’s effectiveness and impact. Board
members may act in an advocacy capacity or as subject matter experts in various operating areas as needed, as well as participate
in philanthropic efforts
