The Friendly Visiting Program aims to improve the quality of life of people with MS who live in long-term care by fostering supportive relationships between a resident and a volunteer. Your role is to visit with a resident at least twice per month to:
This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a high level of reliability and responsibility. Volunteers must be empathetic, supportive, and should be based in Edmonton or the surrounding communities.

We request a one-year commitment for this role. Please note that if successful, this position will require the completion of a vulnerable sector check and may have additional onboarding requirements depending on the long-term care home you visit (e.g., TB testing, proof of immunization).
