Since 1939, Alberta lung has championed education, research and patient support. Breathe Smart is our educational presentation to school aged youth and the public. These sessions teach about lung health, air quality, vaping and more. We are looking for Calgary and Edmonton based facilitators, that can travel to present these sessions within the Junior and Senior High School settings in a engaging, informative manner. Quality of presentation is important, applicants must be engaging and resourceful with well developed communication skills. Some virtual sessions may be required.

Requirements

Background or interest in science, health or education.

Reasonable access to a vehicle (you will be expected to drive to sessions, no transit).

Flexible schedule- sessions are usually during school hours. Mornings especially.

Training

You will be trained to use our presentation kit, interactive lungs and presentation PowerPoint.

Benefits

Facilitators are eligible for honouraria and volunteer credits.
