flexible / as needed
closes in 69 days (Wed, 1 May)

MS Canada is an organization founded by volunteers and continually fueled by the initiative and dedication of thousands of volunteers across the country. Join an exciting, dynamic and diverse organization that is committed to creating a world free of MS!

Event Description

MS Walk / Marche SP is a community-driven event for people living with or affected by MS as well as those who want to support our vision of creating a world free of MS.  Canadians come together in their communities every May to fundraise for and participate in MS Walk to help find the cause and cure for this disease.

As part of the MS Walk Committee, you will plan and execute an inclusive, engaging event to connect and empower the MS community in your region.  MS impacts all Canadians, which is why we urge people to move forward together at MS Walk and help build awareness for the disease, raising much needed funds to allow us to continue to support people affected by MS.  This is a great opportunity to make an impact in your community using your talent and time.

Here are the roles we are hoping to fill with inspired and engaged volunteers:

MS Walk Route Coordinator

The Route Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring our participants have an enjoyable, accessible, and safe route to experience during the event. As the local route expert, your advance planning and execution of Route Coordinator responsibilities on event day will ensure a fabulous event experience for all Walk participants. Lead route signage and pick up.

MS Walk Entertainment Coordinator

The Entertainment Coordinator plays an important role in shaping the participant experience on site and on route. This includes organizing entertainment and activities/games and managing the “main stage” and finish line experience to create a positive and memorable event experience for MS Walk participants. Kids tent, finish line activity, making noise makers.

MS Walk Food & Beverage Coordinator

The Food & Beverage Coordinator will work with the MS Walk Coordinator to ensure that all food and beverage needs are met. This includes pricing out local food vendors and sourcing any in kind donations. You will be the day of lead for all food items and point of contact for vendor set up.
