The Outreach, Community Partnership Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator, will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing partnerships with various community stakeholders to support our mission and our strategic goals.  

You will also be responsible for Outreach for our various programs, while also managing, growing our social media and independent channels. 

This person will be a liaison between the organization and its partners, art institutions, galleries, businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, and other nonprofits, on a local, national, and international level.  

Overview 

  • This role involves working with the team and autonomously.  
  • We believe in building a fun - healthy culture, that is free from politics, favoritism, and nepotism or abuse of power, to mention a few. 
  • As you will be evaluated, you will also have the chance to evaluate your peers or your co-workers, we believe in a two-way street, not one way. (More details to follow) 
  • We do not believe in micromanagement and other variables attached to it.  
  • You will receive a two-week training or altogether 48 hours (about 4 days) which can be split into two weeks of training, and ongoing support will be provided at your request.  
  • This is a volunteer position to begin with, it will require a commitment of 3 days or 24 hours, you can split it as you see fit.  
  • We will be seeking funding to grow this role into a paid position, full transparency will be provided to you in this regard. 
  • This position will require you to be open-minded, strategic, have high emotional intelligence, and maturity while being proactive. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Partnership Development and Management:  
  • Identify potential community partners and cultivate relationships that align with the organization's strategic goals. Evaluate existing partnerships for fit and impact, ensuring they are mutually beneficial. 
  • Community Engagement:  
  • Develop and manage public engagement strategies for the organization's initiatives, projects, programs, and services. This includes organizing outreach events, holding community meetings, and promoting program participation. 
  • Event Coordination:  
  • Oversee the planning and execution of community events that involve partners, including organizing, marketing, and volunteer coordination. 
  • Communication:  
  • Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of partners, maintaining regular communication and support to collaboratively meet objectives. 
  • Social Media: 
  • Create, develop, and execute social media content both from a growth perspective and communications viewpoint to promote partnerships and community involvement. 
  • Reporting and Analysis:  
  • Review, measure, and analyze engagement activity, effectiveness, and outcomes. Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders to demonstrate the value and impact of community partnerships. 
  • Strategic Planning:  
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans related to community partnerships and engagement 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bilingual. 
  • Arts background preferred. (Student, Practicing, etc., etc.)  
  • Experienced, but not necessary.  
  • Independent and excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects. 
  • Highly collaborative; affinity for working with people and on teams. 
  • Ability to take initiative, think creatively, and seek the information needed to address challenges. 
  • Commitment to community-building; advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.  
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and across stakeholder groups  
  • Knowledge of local communities.
