Position: Volunteer Professional Photographer for Vancouver Half-Marathon 2024

About the Role:

Join us as a Volunteer Professional Photographer for our coverage of the Vancouver Half Marathon, hosted by the Pacific Immigrant Resources Society (PIRS). PIRS has been a pillar of support for immigrant and refugee women and children since 1975, fostering belonging, participation, and leadership through inclusive programs. As a key member of our team, you'll use your professional camera and equipment to capture the spirit and energy of this exciting event.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Capture high-quality photographs that showcase the excitement and emotion of the Vancouver Half Marathon.
  • Work closely with our event team to ensure all key moments are documented.
  • Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude throughout the event.

Qualifications:

  • Must have your own professional-grade camera and equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience and a strong portfolio of photography work.
  • Easygoing personality and a passion for working with non-profit organizations.
  • Flexibility with hours, as event timing may vary (not expected to exceed 3-4 hours).

 

Location and Date:

  • The event will take place at UBC Vancouver Campus on June 23rd, 2024.
