Startup Help Entrepreneurial Incubator is a non-profit organization that fosters entrepreneurship and supports start-up businesses in Canada. We are currently seeking passionate, committed individuals to join our Board of Directors.

Startup Help is a Non-Profit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and supporting startup businesses in Canada.  We aim to foster the growth of entrepreneurs, including those facing socioeconomic challenges or limitations, by providing them with the necessary resources, mentorship, and support to grow or build successful businesses.  We recognize that some individuals from underprivileged backgrounds often lack access to opportunities and resources crucial for entrepreneurship.  Startup Help is unique and seeks to address this gap by offering a comprehensive program tailored to the needs of these entrepreneurs.  Our goal is to empower individuals to overcome barriers, unleash their potential, and make a meaningful impact in their communities.

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Board, you will:

• Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the organization
• Participate in monthly board meetings and annual planning retreats
• Contribute to financial planning and fundraising efforts
• Advocate for the organization within your network and community

Qualifications

Ideal candidates for the Board of Directors will possess the following:

• Passion for entrepreneurship and startups
• Previous board governance experience is an asset
• Strong networking and fundraising skills
• Background or experience in legal, accounting, or HR fields is an asset
• Ability to commit time for board meetings, committee work, and special events
• Financial literacy and understanding of non-profit governance is an asset
