Huamai is a federal registered non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Canadian expertise in architectural design, art therapy, environmental sustainability, and educational innovation worldwide. Our mission is to leverage the talents of Canadian professionals to drive cultural preservation, environmental stewardship, and equitable education through impactful projects globally.

Core Objectives

1. Cultural Preservation: Develop and implement innovative architectural solutions for cultural heritage conservation, such as museums and community centers, blending Canadian traditional and modern design elements.

2. Environmental Sustainability: Promote the international application of green building practices and low-carbon infrastructure by offering comprehensive design and consulting services for projects like wetland restoration and renewable energy systems.

3. Educational Innovation: Design and implement state-of-the-art educational facilities and deliver international copyright courses that advance equitable access to quality education.

To achieve these goals, we are seeking dedicated and skilled Fundraiser Volunteers to support our mission and expand our impact globally.

Responsibilities

1. Fundraising Campaigns: Design and execute creative fundraising campaigns targeting individuals, corporations, and philanthropic organizations.

2. Donor Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with potential and current donors, ensuring regular updates on the impact of their contributions.

3. Grant Writing: Research and apply for grants aligned with the foundation’s mission and projects.

4. Partnership Development: Identify and secure partnerships with businesses and organizations interested in supporting cultural preservation, environmental sustainability, or educational initiatives.

5. Event Coordination: Plan and manage fundraising events, such as galas, online auctions, or community initiatives.

Qualifications

1. Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relationship management is preferred.

2. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey the foundation’s mission effectively.

3. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop impactful fundraising strategies.

4. Passion for non-profit work and a commitment to supporting cultural preservation, environmental sustainability, and educational equity.

5. Team-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to engaging potential supporters.

Work Details

• Location: Remote, with opportunities for virtual collaboration.

• Time Commitment: Flexible; approximately 5-10 hours per week.

• Duration: Minimum of 3 months of service is recommended.
