Goal

Our Mission: To help people help themselves by working creatively and responding to community needs. CCS is a non-profit organization that provides health care and community services to the residents of Caledon. CCS supports assisted living for seniors, newcomer services, youth and employment services, specialized transportation services, food support, and referrals to community resources.

Description

CCS needs volunteers, for a variety of roles to support the smooth execution of our annual signature fundraising gala on Friday November 28, 2025, between the hours of 3pm to 1am.

This is a fun opportunity to volunteer in one or more important roles during our annual, semi-formal fundraising gala, “Home for the Holidays ”, located at the glamorous Royal Ambassador Banquet Hall in Caledon, ON. (There is no public transit in this rural location, so a driver’s license and use of a vehicle is required. There is free, accessible parking at the banquet hall.)

Roles that you can fill include:

  • set up/decor assistants (setting up centerpieces, setting up guest gifts on the tables, setting up for the auction) - Nov 27, 1pm-7 pm
  • November 28 - event night, arrive at 3 pm for the briefing (except for Auction Payment volunteers, arriving for 8pm briefing)
  • Registration assistants (help provide a warm welcome to our guests!)
  • Photographer assistants (help us capture the magic of the night!)
  • Wine wall and mystery boxes sales (is sales your secret talent? - you'll help sell wine and mystery fudge boxes and process payments)
  • MC assistants (do you love the spotlight? You'll help the magic happen, bring out the prizes, help run fun activities etc)
  • Event day assistants (calling all customer service ninjas! welcome the guests, help Gala program run smoothly)
  • Silent auction assistants (help our guests pick out amazing items and bid!)
  • Payment crew (do you have that magic tech touch? help us process auction payments with our state-of-the-art cashless terminals!)
  • Takedown team (are you a night owl/Marie Kondo's fan? this is a late shift to collect our decor/unused auction items from the venue)
Benefits
