 The Mission: 

 Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the Director of Finance's mission is to support the financial operational plan at Testoper Community to ensure the success of finance strategy and its target metrics outcomes and indicators. Be the voice, creative mind, insightful data-driven learner, team player, and act as a force multiplier to drive growth. 

 

The Responsibility: 

  •  Partner with CFO to help drive steady growth through finance, accounting, and funding initiatives. 
  • Record and maintain accounting data and forward reports to CFO on a weekly and consolidated report on a monthly and quarterly basis. 
  • Prepare budgets, financial statements, facilitate auditing and file returns, etc. 
  • Take the lead to re-imagine innovative ways of doing things to implement new accounting policies/processes and funding acquisition. 
  • Lead as an example, walk the talk, honor meeting hours, and volunteer work hours (3-4 hrs./week). 

 

The Deliverables: 

 Execute operational finance plan in the calendar, and ensure its success from goal to action, target metrics indicator, and outcome.  

  • Prepare, maintain, and execute the financial budget, track actuals, and own accounting practices.  
  • Collect evidence and make sure accounting principles applied as per government guidelines. 
  • Collect and maintain all supporting documents as a backup for accounting transactions. 
  • Master in non-profit private and public grants opportunity, prepare and apply to secure them. 

 

The Experience:  

  • Determined to succeed and have worked or earned degree or certification in accounting or business field 
  • A highly motivated individual who consistently delivers high performance against finance and funding target metrics outcome and indicators (KPI) 
  • Curious to always learn and seek new innovative ways to deliver results. 
  • Keep your promises and commitments seriously and have strong integrity. 
  • Experience in the non-profit organization, CPA firm, education industry, and finance management are an asset.
