Our Production Assistants are passionate about being in a place where travel, volunteering, photography change all intersect. If you have a project management background, are extremely organized and customer service oriented, then this is the perfect opportunity.


We are currently offering opportunities for Assistant Producers interested in any of these regions: Africa, Asia, Europe, America, Oceania. *Please state the region of interest you wish to be considered for in your application.


This position is remote, based in anywhere is Canada or the USA.



  • Assist the production team outreach of NGO’s and photographers, helping to plan projects, communicate itineraries and expectations. They act as a liaison between photographers and NGO’s and are also responsible for collecting all field notes, photos and metadata for projects.
  • Update and maintain administrative record related to the PWB Program and production activities
    Support the Producers to deliver the Production workflow, timelines, and performance targets
  • Support the Chief Production Officer by ensuring that timely communication and correspondence is maintained to Members, the Production Team and other PWB Business Units
  • Compiling and reporting of aggregated data and information as required
    Being an active and contributing member of the Production Team and PWB Team
    Other duties as assigned by supervisor



  • Have a post-secondary degree or completing a post-secondary degree in international development, customer service, project management, or a related field
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organizational and communication skills (written and oral) · Work / Volunteer experience with one of the above-mentioned regions (Africa, Asia, Europe, America, Oceania)
  • Have a self-motivated attitude
  • Experience working with a remote team
  • Be able to multitask and manage tasks efficiently
  • Be reliable for individual and team-related work
  • Adhere to schedules and deadlines
  • Maintain professionalism and enthusiastic, customer-service oriented attitude throughout


Time Commitment

  • Up to 10 hours per week
  • Must attend weekly team meetings each Wednesday at 6:45pm EST.
