The Canadian Heritage Photography Foundation (CHPF) is an archive of photographs reflecting the diverse cultural heritage of Canada. With a focus on digitizing our holdings, CHPF aims to make these beautiful photographs available to everyone. We current have over 11,500 images digitized from the archive and freely available on line for photographers, researchers, historians, educators, film makers or proud Canadians to view and explore.
CHPF is currently looking for volunteer Directors with successful experience in fundraising for Not for Profits in Canada. Directors are asked for up to ten hours of assistance on the Board per month. There are about ten meetings per year via Zoom. We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic volunteers who are ready to participate. CHPF is a growing independent archive who has received funding for digitization through Library and Archives Canada, the Department of Canadian Heritage, the University of British Columbia, Heritage Manitoba and the City of Mississauga.
