Canadian Center for Women’s Empowerment (CCFWE) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to empowering domestic violence survivors through advocacy and mentorship.

CCFWE is the only Canadian Non for profit dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it. Our vision is a world where domestic violence survivors can access and receive the resources they require to develop and achieve economic empowerment, and so improve their general well-being.

We work in partnership to ensure women have access to and control over their own economic resources. We focus on four strategic priorities: public education and awareness-raising; Mental health and wellness; ensuring systems do not inadvertently facilitate economic abuse; and influencing policy.

We believe that volunteers are a fundamental part of the services offered to domestic violence survivors. Volunteers complement the existing services and enable the program to provide intensive support to women.
