We are seeking candidates for the Board of Directors of Kawartha Participation Project (KPP) which is a charitable not-for –profit agency providing services for people with diverse needs, especially those with a physical disability to enable them to live independently and achieve their goals. KPP is committed to creating a community that is caring, inclusive and accessible by establishing and maintaining housing that is safe, stable and affordable as well as providing, where required, flexible and sensitive personal supports. Every person should be celebrated and we believe that real strength can come from shared abilities.
The future is bright and the next few years promise to be exciting ones for KPP and our community. If you are interested in being part of it, the Board of Directors is accepting applications from interested and qualified individuals who want to contribute to the positive impact our organization is having in our community.
We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications who are committed to providing guidance and oversight based on a policy governance model:
KPP is committed to equity, diversity and inclusion. Successful candidates will be expected to prepare for and actively participate in monthly Board meetings between September to June, as well as serve on a Board Committee which meets at least quarterly.
