The Founders and Management Team
Since 2006, the founders have committed to keeping this site affordable for all non-profits, regardless of size or budget. To this end they volunteer their time, skills and financial resources to running this site.
Juliet's background includes consulting with small and medium non-profit organizations to improve the effectiveness of their management and governance through organizational assessments, strategic planning and board development. She has many years management experience working and volunteering in the non-profit sector and has served as Executive Director in various small and medium social service agencies. Juliet is passionate about non-profit sustainability and sees an affordable-to-all job site as being vital to strengthening the non-profit sector.
Jose has been involved in assisting and advising non-profits with their information technology challenges since 1999, after retiring as a business intelligence consultant. Few things annoy him more than seeing non-profits spending money needlessly, whether it be on computer technology they have absolutely no need for, or paying through the nose for job listings. He is also an active volunteer at several non-profit organizations.
Plus... we have and continue to receive valuable input on the design and structure of WorkInNonProfits.ca from many professionals in the non-profit sector.
