Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director/Manager of External Affairs will be more than a leader; they will be an influencer, a strategist, and the embodiment of Fintechs Canada’s ethos. The incumbent’s insights will direct high-stakes conversations, their strategies will chart the future of fintech in Canada, and the alliances they forge will revolutionize the financial services industry. The Director/Manager of External Affairs’ specific responsibilities include:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Establishing and nurturing relationships with key government officials and industry stakeholders, advocating for the advancement of fintech and influencing public policy. The Director/Manager of External Affairs will represent the organization in the halls of government and beyond and will be the voice that stakeholders trust, respect, and act upon.
• Education and Events: Commanding the spotlight by orchestrating events and other programs that don’t just inform—they inspire and influence.
• Strategic Direction: Advising on, designing, and implementing rigorous strategies that achieve organizational objectives, ensuring that Fintechs Canada remains a connected and driving force in the industry.
