Reporting to the Director, Strategy and Operations, IJM is seeking a donor-centric Coordinator, Data Stewardship and Donor Care to provide excellent customer service to our donors to ensure the continued support and sustainability of the organization. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring donor records are correct and responding to donor inquires in a timely manner.

This is a full-time position. IJM offers a competitive compensation package which includes 3 weeks of paid vacation, benefits and a matching RRSP program. 

 

Main Responsibilities/Duties: 

Data Management, Documentation and Reporting 

  • Tracking errors and inconsistencies in Salesforce data and working with internal Salesforce team to resolve errors or data issues 

  • Responding to Salesforce tasks including campaign creation 

  • Updating donor account information, preventing duplicates and ensuring data integrity 

  • Complying with all relevant data privacy legislation 

Donor Relations 

  • Responding to consistent calls and emails regarding contribution inquiries, contact information updates, and payment method updates 

  • Manage incoming organizational emails from the info and giving emails 

  • Receipting of donations and gifts 

Gift Processing 

  • Receiving and entering all donation information from cheques and pre-authorized debit (PAD) into the database 

  • Facilitate recurring donations via credit card and PAD 

  • Contact donors regarding expired payment information or missed gifts 

  • Maintain files 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Post secondary degree or diploma with 2 years of professional experience in data entry and financial administration 

  • Experience using a fundraising or sales CRM; experience with Salesforce is highly preferred 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain accurate data 

  • Conversant in MS Office 

  • Excellent customer service skills  

  • Experience working in a donor facing role is an asset
