As part of our mandate to facilitate the integration process of newcomers as much as possible, The Refugee Centre has created a new position of case manager. This role is an evolving position, where you will be responsible for learning and practicing in three phases. The initial phase will begin by thorough training, to understand the complexities of the migration process as well as learn how to navigate the healthcare system for both physical and mental health. The second phase will include holding wellness & health supporting appointments for clients if needed or wanted. During the final phase, this role will be responsible for handling client caseloads, assessing client needs, referring clients to specific services options. The goal is to ensure that patients receive a continued form of support as they navigate their resettlement process and services at our center.
