Title: Finance Administrative Assistant (Canada Summer Jobs Program)
Type: Temporary (up to 8 weeks), Full-time (35 hours per week)
Location: Remote (Must reside in one of the Provinces: ON, BC, SK, NS)
Salary: $16.55 per hour or relevant provincial minimum wage (whichever is higher)

About this Opportunity
Canadian Feed the Children (“CFTC”) has a Canada Summer Jobs opening from July 8, 2024, to August 31, 2024 for Finance Administrative Assistant. As a Summer Finance Administrative Assistant, your main goal is to improve financial operations by streamlining processes and enhancing transparency. You'll work closely with the team to document procedures clearly, using tools like flowcharts and written instructions. You'll also analyze current processes to find areas for improvement, suggesting practical solutions such as automation or better approval systems. Your role includes implementing these changes, training team members, and continuously evaluating their effectiveness. Ultimately, you'll help create a more organized, efficient, and transparent financial environment.
This position is made possible largely due to the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) grant, an initiative of the Summer Work Experience program. One of the priorities of the program is to support employers who intend to hire youth in underrepresented groups.
