on-call / relief / casual  •  $20.45+/hr plus pay in lieu of benefits (complex needs= regular wage + $3)

WJS Canada, is building our 24/7 CASUAL POOL to work a variety of shifts as a Community Disability Support Worker, covering staff illness, leaves, vacation etc.  

AVAILABILITY to work: day, night (sleep) or Night (awake) shifts 
LOCATION: Group homes or private residences in Slave Lake, Alberta 
WHEN DO I WORK? Set your availability and accept shifts you desire 

Possible shifts: DAYS 7am – 7pm or 9am – 5pm; NIGHTS 7pm - 7am (8 hrs sleep @ $16.50/hr) 
 HOW MUCH WILL I MAKE? $20.45+/hr plus pay in lieu of benefits (complex needs= regular wage + $3) 
 WHEN CAN I START? Complete the signup process, provide required security clearances and start as soon as possible! 

In Your Role You Will 
Support and encourage persons with diverse abilities, autism, mental health issues, FASD in a group home or private home setting to learn new skills, achieve their goals, increase independence and participate in their community. 

As An Ideal Candidate You Possess 
• High School Diploma 
• Some experience – DSW, healthcare aide (HCA), educational assistant, LPN, social services worker 
• A Driver’s License 
• Clear criminal record and social services intervention check
