This is a 6-Month Contract position with the possibility of extension based on organizational needs and funding availability. The work schedule is set for 35 hours per week.
DUTIES
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to gather data, stories and other relevant information for inclusion in the annual report.
- Lead the development and writing of compelling content that highlights our organization's mission, programs, achievements, and impact.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of information presented in the annual report, including financial data, statistics, and success stories.
- Work closely with the design team (external) to create visually engaging layouts, graphics, and other visual elements for the report.
- Manage the production process from concept to final delivery, including coordinating reviews, revisions and approvals.
- Ensure adherence to brand and writing guidelines and organizational standards in all aspects of the annual report's development and production.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to develop a distribution plan and strategy for the annual report, including both print and digital formats.
- Monitor and track the effectiveness of the annual report, gathering feedback from stakeholders and making recommendations for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 of experience in writing and developing annual reports, preferably in the nonprofit or social services sector.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and compelling narratives.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
- Experience working with graphic designers and other creative professionals to produce visually appealing materials.
- Knowledge of best practices in annual report development, including content strategy, design, and distribution.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

STARTING SALARY: $34.12 per hour to $36.41 per hour
