We are looking for a motivated Manager to join our Settlement team!

 

MOSAIC is seeking an experienced manager with strong interpersonal skills who can manage a diverse program portfolio.

 

POSITION FUNCTION:

The Manager, Enhanced Settlement Programs manages overall operations of programming designed to address the needs of specific newcomer communities including newcomer seniors, LGBTQIA+ newcomers, racialized communities and women/families. Working across program locations in Surrey and Vancouver, the Manager of Enhanced Settlement Programs, works with staff, co-location agencies, community organizations and stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate programs.  This position provides on-site supervision of staff, ensures funder requirements are met, and champions community and stakeholder collaborations.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Demonstrate clear understanding of specific newcomer communities’ needs and barriers to settlement including; seniors, LGBTQIA+ newcomers, racialized communities and women/families
• Manage all aspects of programs including contractual obligations set out by funders, such as outcomes/outputs, reporting, and evaluation
• Supervise the promotion and marketing of all program-related activities
• Manage financial aspects of contracts including budget planning, monitoring of program expenditures, financial statements and variances
• Hire, train, supervise and coach program staff
• Work in partnership with community organizations and stakeholders in order to build relationships to enhance programs and cross referrals
• Work with Senior Manager of Settlement to identify emerging newcomer needs and plan appropriately

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Social Work, Psychology, related area or a combination of education and experience will be considered
• 1 - 3 years management experience
• Experience in coaching, supervising and motivating diverse work teams
• Experience in meeting funder (or similar) requirements and contractual management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking and thoughtful questioning
• Effective organizational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Experience in working in a non-profit and multicultural environment is an asset

 

HOURS: 

Full time, 35 hours/week

 

The successful candidate may be permitted to work a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote work). Candidate must be able to commute to Vancouver and Surrey offices.

 

STARTING PAY:

Pay range for this position is $69,360.20 to $71,716.84

 

BENEFITS:

A competitive benefits package is provided with contracts of at least 1 year in length and which offer a minimum of 17.5 hours of work per week.
