Job Summary:
This position helps coordinate and promote internal staff events and community events. The Events and Communications Coordinator will work with various event committees, as well as our Archway administration team and Philanthropy team as needed. The position will work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to promote events internally and externally and support program events.
The Events and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, organizing, implementing, and follow-up regarding event activities and deliverables for recurring annual events such as the annual Community Builders’ Awards, Annual General Meeting, community events, staff engagement events and more. The Coordinator will support fundraisers, program events and established community events with communication strategies, event planning, and support on the event day.
The ideal candidate will have a background in event planning, strong administrative skills, a demonstrated ability to communicate well, and a passion for creating engaging and memorable experiences for staff and the community.
