Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Volunteers works as part of the People & Culture team and is responsible for duties relating to coordination of a variety of volunteer initiatives for Archway. This position will be responsible for the coordination of volunteers across the agency and ensuring applicable documentation is completed and saved.

Your Role:

Archway’s Coordinator, Volunteers with the People & Culture Program contributes by:

  • Supporting the transactional functions as it relates to the coordination of volunteers across the agency including responding to volunteer candidate inquiries and matching volunteers to the appropriate programs.
  • Assisting in the development of and updating of volunteer position descriptions based on program needs and posting volunteer opportunities on Archway’s website.
  • Assisting supervisors in managing volunteer referrals in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring volunteer information and documentation is uploaded into the volunteer management database, Better Impact, and to other shared drives.

This position is a great fit for someone with exceptional organizational and attention to details skills and enjoys working with a broad variety of people.

Our Offer

  • Wage: $24.00 per hour
  • A part-time position at 15 to 20 hours per week, availability Mondays to Fridays, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Getting an Interview – you will be considered if you have:

  • Certificate in human resources or administration is an asset.
  • Experience in processing and communicating sensitive personal information.
  • Experience in an administrative or human resources position.

The Job Requires you to have:

  • Strong written, verbal and active listening skills; ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with a wide variety of people.
  • Ability to deliver tasks in short deadlines and prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is a condition of employment.
