part time - temporary / contract  •  Starting at $46 per hour. Instructors are contracted to a self-employment agreement.

Place des Arts is seeking a committed, enthusiastic and qualified Voice Teacher to teach private lessons on Thursdays, Fridays and/or Sundays for our 2024/2025 season. The candidate must be passionate about teaching and interact well with students of different ages and abilities.

Place des Arts provides quality arts education in visual arts, music, dance and theatre for all ages and skill levels. We offer a friendly, non-competitive environment where students are encouraged to learn and develop an appreciation of the arts. QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor of Music or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years of teaching experience, working with students of various ages and abilities in a private lesson setting

  • Proficient in teaching a variety of ages and abilities
  • Highly responsible and punctual
  • Thoughtful, energetic and passionate about teaching
  • Experience teaching child or adult group voice classes an asset
  • Eager to participate in, and contribute to, our vibrant centre

 

REQUIREMENTS

All teachers are required to obtain and provide a Police Information Check with a vulnerable sector check prior to commencing work.

 

REMUNERATION

Starting at $46 per hour. Instructors are contracted to a self-employment agreement. Place des Arts coordinates studio space, scheduling, registration and program promotions.
