About Pastor-Teacher Chuck Swindoll

Charles R. Swindoll has devoted his life to the accurate, practical teaching and application of God’s Word and His grace. Since 1988 he has served as the founder and senior pastor-teacher of Stonebriar Community Church in Texas, but his listening audience extends far beyond a local church body.

 

His international radio program Insight for Living has aired for more than 40 years. Chuck’s trademark humour, integrity, and authenticity have made him one of this century’s most beloved and trusted preachers.

 

General Description

Insight for Living Canada’s media and marketing assistant works with the communications team as a brand advocate, participating in every aspect of the department from marketing and promotions to distribution. The person in this role helps create meaningful digital experiences for constituents. This position requires someone who is organized and has a friendly, flexible disposition. This is a salaried position based on a 40-hour workweek.

 

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or diploma in marketing or relevant experience equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of Adobe creative suite an asset
  • Can produce exceptional products with short deadlines and quick turnarounds
  • Comfortable working on many different projects
  • Outgoing personality

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Work with the project and media manager to determine priorities and upcoming projects including digital strategy and campaign execution
  • Facilitate approval processing and proofing
  • Assist with all print, marketing, and web projects
  • Assist in developing marketing and project calendars as well as product placement, scheduling, and promotions
  • Assist in the development of new ministry resources and initiatives
  • Assist in performing quality control measures
  • Assist in executing Living Bridge (radio stations) and marketing metrics
  • Assist in quality control proofing and checking for print, audio, and web resources
  • Assist the media and communications team with ongoing projects as needed

The media and marketing assistant is responsible to the project and media manager. It is crucial to understand and support the mission and core values of Insight for Living Canada
