Communitas Supportive Care Society is a faith-based, registered charity that supports people of all abilities in a variety of person-centered ways. These supports include home living, community support, employment, respite, and social enterprises in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and Vancouver Island. All these services have common goals: instilling a sense of belonging, facilitating personal growth, and enabling people to make positive contributions to their community.


We are looking for a full-time 40-hour/week Recruiter.


The position works with the Communitas HR Department and with the HR Manager Recruiting to coordinate, develop, implement, evaluate, administer, and provides human resources services in the areas of recruitment, and human resources information systems (HRIS). Provides advice and guidance to senior leaders to ensure human resources policies, programs, and procedures in these areas are compliant with legal/statutory requirements and Communitas policies/objectives. Position assists applicants through the job application process and supports hiring and placement of staff for the organization.


Location: Abbotsford, BC.


Wage Range: $25.11-$28.05 per hour.


Position requirements: College-level education in related field, Minimum of 4 years HR/office/administrative experience; Excellent computer skills; Enthusiasm for matching people and their skills to a role; Proof of full vaccination for COVID-19.
