ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

Founded on the legacy of Rick Hansen’s Man In Motion World Tour, the Rick Hansen Foundation (RHF) is a Canadian registered charity with the vision of creating a fully inclusive and accessible world where people with disabilities are living to their full potential. Through our programs and partnerships, we break down barriers for people with disabilities by changing attitudes, creating accessible spaces and inspiring an inclusive society.

For over three decades, RHF has raised awareness, changed attitudes, and provided innovative solutions to break down the barriers that people with disabilities face every day in the places where we live, work, learn and play.  We work hard to ensure our donors trust us, feel our gratitude, are well-informed, and enjoy positive giving experiences.  Through RHF’s giving programs, including major gifts, corporate, annual, monthly, and planned giving programs, our donors are helping to create a world where Everyone can go Everywhere.   As an RHF team member, some of the things you can look forward to include a values-based and collaborative work environment, with a high value on staff’s mental health and well-being; meaningful and impactful work, and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the 8 million Canadians with disabilities.

RHF values diversity in the community and the workplace. We are committed to building a diverse workforce representative of the communities we serve.  We welcome applications from all qualified candidates including Indigenous peoples, individuals of all genders and sexual orientation, race, ethnic origin, disability, age, and religion and anyone living at the intersection of these identities.
