Position Title: Get Moving! After-School Support Facilitator (2 positions currently available)
Start and end dates: September 2024 to June 2025 (with three (3) weeks layoff)
Hours: 15-20 hours/week
Location: North York schools and communities
Hourly rate: $18.39/hour
Reports to: After School Program Coordinator

Position Summary
The After-School Support Facilitator provides planning and program support for the Get Moving! Program for children ages 6 to 12 years old with a focus on healthy active living. This program aims to improve health issues of newcomer children and youth by focusing on physical activity, health eating and wellness education. In addition, homework assistance, excursions and arts-based activities are planned for its participants.
The position requires the employee to be available locally to provide immediate support to any emergencies that may arise for onsite programs. This involves being on-call and prepared to respond swiftly to urgent situations, ensuring that all onsite operations run smoothly and effectively.
