Job Description:
The Digital Literacy and Job Skills Development Manager’s job has four main components:
First, to ensure that the Atwater Library’s provides English-language digital literacy services to older adults to meet the organization’s commitment to the Grace Dart Foundation.
Second, to supervise the Digital Tech Coordinator and Facilitator and provide support in expanding the reach of the Atwater Library’s for-fee classes, workshops and private instruction.
Third, to contribute to the successful completion of the Atwater Library’s CELI Project in accordance with the Contribution Agreement dated June 2023 between the Quebec Community Groups Network (QCGN) and the Atwater Library. (CELI is the acronym for Community Empowerment Literacy Initiative.)
Fourth, to identify emerging needs for digital literacy and jobs skills training the Atwater Library is suited to providing as well as opportunities for the funding required – funding from public and private granting agencies as well as partner community groups.
The Project Coordinator reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Manager of Administration and Development.
Most work is on site at the Atwater Library with occasional work at the premises of partner community groups.

The duties may change over time based on partner interests, funding requirements, community needs, and other factors.
